QR Lite is designed around on-device processing. This policy describes what data the app may handle, why it may handle it, and how users can contact us about privacy-related questions.
1. Information handled by the current version
QR Lite may handle information that you intentionally bring into the app or intentionally generate inside it. This can include poster images imported from Photos or Files, QR images, generated QR content, saved or shared result images, and local history or favorites stored on your device.
The app may also read limited billing-related information from Apple, such as product availability, displayed price, active entitlement state, and expiration time. This information is used only to determine whether Pro features should be available and to show the current subscription state.
2. Photos, Files, and Camera permissions
When you import a poster, choose a QR image, or save a rendered result back to your photo library, QR Lite requests the corresponding system permissions. These permissions are used only to complete the action that you initiated.
When you use live QR scanning, the app requests camera access. Camera access is used only to scan QR content. If you deny camera access, you can still use file import, photo import, manual editing, and export features.
Poster import is currently positioned around
JPG, JPEG, PNG, and
HEIC. The app does not present PDF as
a formal poster import format.
3. Local processing and exports
QR detection, placement adjustment, preview rendering, and final export are performed on-device in the current version. Core image editing is not positioned as a cloud-processing flow.
Exported output is treated as a newly rendered result image rather than a metadata-preserving edit of the source file. As a result, QR Lite does not promise to preserve all original file metadata, including EXIF, ICC, or DPI information.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
QR Lite offers optional Apple In-App Purchases. Purchases, renewals, cancellations, and restore actions are processed by Apple App Store and StoreKit.
Monthly and yearly plans are auto-renewable subscriptions. Lifetime is a one-time purchase. Pricing, currency, taxes, and final settlement are determined by Apple and may vary by storefront.
5. Retention and deletion
History items, favorites, and related settings are stored locally on your device. You can remove them inside the app, or you can remove local app data by uninstalling the app.
If you contact us by email, we may keep the messages you send for a reasonable period in order to reply, troubleshoot, and keep support records. If you want us to delete support messages you previously sent, contact us at the email address below.
6. Contact and updates
If QR Lite later adds cloud sync, online forms, analytics, crash-reporting services, or advertising SDKs, this page will be updated before or alongside those changes.
